Technical inspection (ATEX)

Initial inspection of equipment (which is dedicated for hazardous areas) should be initiated before or during each installation and / or repair. Periodic technical inspection is routine and continuous process for applications and equipment already installed in hazardous areas.

There are three levels of Hazardous Area Inspections. Visual hazardous area inspection identifies defects without interference or use of equipment. Close hazardous area inspection in general is more detailed visual inspection in addition including additional check stages accordingly to a standards. Detailed hazardous area inspection is the most advanced and complex check procedure. During inspection additional actions can be applied: de-energize equipment, open the enclosures,  dismount cable glands and etc.
